The Aish HaTorah Gesher Program was designed for quality post high school students who are genuinely looking to learn more about Judaism and are seeking a complete Israel experience. Our goal is to provide students with a nurturing and challenging environment that will enrich their life and bring out their potential. We are dedicated to help our students discover for themselves a deep appreciation of God, Judaism and the Jewish people. We are committed to provide our students with the knowledge, experience, inspiration, tools and support that will enable them to independently continue learning, growing and achieving greatness for the rest of their life.
Students are attracted by our highly rigorous program of Jewish Studies, which combines study of Talmud, Chumash, Modern Hebrew, Jewish Law, Jewish History and Jewish Philosophy. Our beginners Talmud program is renowned for developing students into independent learners and preparing them for more advanced Talmud study. Our innovative and successful Ulpan teaches students Modern Hebrew. Our Jewish Philosophy classes are world-renown for teaching the meaning and beauty of Judaism and the wisdom and relevance of the Torah. Classes on developing character traits and building relationships foster the student’s development as a great and successful person. Our leadership training program empowers our students to effectively share this knowledge with others. Each individual student can customize a schedule that appeals to his unique interests, level and pace.
Students identify with their Jewish heritage by engaging in Israeli society and participating in many exciting trips exploring our holy and historic land. Through our Chesed program, students participate in various acts of kindness on behalf of Israel’s needy and victims of terror. They experience first-hand the fulfillment and pleasure that comes with selflessly giving to others and taking responsibility for the Jewish people.
Through an incredible array of classes, world-class educators and dynamic programs, the Intermediate Program of Aish HaTorah provides an ideal Israel experience in the best location in the world.

Some unique aspects of our program
The program is independent of the rest of Yeshivat Aish HaTorah, while still allowing for as much positive interaction as possible with the broader yeshiva. Some of the benefits that come from being part of Aish Jerusalem are:
-
Students with broader learning interests can benefit from dozens of classes on many levels offered in the other Aish Jerusalem programs. For example, if a student seriously advances in Gemara he can avail himself of classes in our Intermediate or Advanced Gemara programs.
- Students benefit from their Interaction with the Yeshiva’s advanced programs. This means our students will have the opportunity to interact with very high caliber, motivated students and even those in Rabbinic training. The Yeshiva also includes Rabbis who are involved in intensive training in order to become Judges and Rosh Kollels. Engaging these Torah scholars in the Yeshiva or in their homes over a Shabbos meal is a powerful experience.
- The Aish HaTorah environment is electrifying. The Beis Medrash is filled with people who are energized and highly inspired about Judaism. Beis Medrash students are deeply committed to and passionate about meaningfully contributing the Jewish future. The environment is absolutely inspiring.
- The Aish HaTorah teachers are sought after by other schools and programs across the country. Our students have real access to these world-class educators who are some of the most desired in the country.
- Our students will become part of a world-wide movement that is taking responsibility for the Jewish people. Aish has played a huge role in the current revitalization in the Jewish world. Aish has been in the fore-front; providing opportunities for Jews of all backgrounds to discover their heritage in an atmosphere of open inquiry and mutual respect. Aish HaTorah is regarded as a world leader in creative Jewish educational programs and leadership training.
- Students become part of the Aish HaTorah family. Worldwide, Aish HaTorah operates 27 permanent branches on 5 continents. This allows for natural follow-up, as a student returning to his home town can continue being part of Aish through connecting to the local branch in his community.
